A European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS), em colaboração com a Sociedade Portuguesa de Aterosclerose (SPA), vai realizar o 86.º Congresso da EAS, de 5 a 8 de maio, no Centro de Congressos de Lisboa. No âmbito do encontro, a 5 de maio, tem lugar o simpósio “The multifaceted aspects of cv prevention: from nutrition to therapy”, com o apoio da Fondazione Internazionale Menarini, que tem como chairs o Dr. Alberto Mello e Silva, o Prof. Doutor Alberico L. Catapano e o Dr. Xavier Pinto.

EAS finances are such that we are in a position to support a good number of promising scientists to further their career by attending the Congress. The EAS leadership proposes to release some of the Society’s own funds to support “national society travel grants” which will be awarded to persons nominated by the Portuguese Society of Atherosclerosis.
